February, 1998: What I Have Learned About Life From Working With Computers

I've worked with computers professionally and as a hobby for nearly 30 years.  In this address, I attempt to outline what I've learned about human nature from that work.  In the last few years, the Internet has also become an increasingly important influence in everyday life for many people -- so I also attempt to outline what I've learned abuot human nature from my experiences on the Internet.
